We’ll start by carefully trimming, shaping and filing your nails to keep them in great condition. We’ll also check for any signs of infections or changes that might suggest an underlying issue, spotting problems early makes all the difference. If you’ve got areas of hard skin or calluses, we’ll gently smooth them down to keep your feet feeling comfortable. If needed, we can carefully remove any stubborn build-up that could cause discomfort or lead to future foot problems.

Verruca needling is a highly effective treatment for stubborn verrucae that stimulates the immune system to target and destroy the virus, often clearing lesions in one session.

Salicylic acid is a widely used treatment for warts and verrucas. It works by softening the outer layer of skin, allowing it to loosen and shed. The treatment typically involves soaking the wart in warm water, paring down the keratin layer, and then applying the salicylic acid directly to the wart.

Nitric acid treatment involves applying a nitric acid solution directly to the verruca, often as part of a product like Verrutop, which contains a Nitric-Zinc Complex (nitric acid, zinc, copper, and organic acids). The acid reacts with the infected tissue, causing mummification and dehydration, which leads the verruca to dry, change color, and eventually fall off, leaving healthy skin underneath. Unlike cryotherapy or laser treatments, it does not freeze or burn the tissue, making it gentler on surrounding skin.
